Why Windows is better than Linux?

Here is why Windows is better than Linux(e.g.Ubuntu).

Installing programs is easy with windows because there is a standard. Try installing VLC and you'll see what I mean.
Anytime you try to install or change something on your own computer you have to type a password. And god forbid you run the program in root, then you get every warning that exists.
Installing anything good in Linux requires an entire weekend ending up in learning how to reinvent the wheel.
To truly use any Linux distribution your going to have to either take classes in how Linux works or spend time reading a lot of books and forums.

Linux is good because it is free and good for ones who love using command line.

The truth is Windows has driven the world going.

เอ..ตอบรอบแรกแล้วไม่ขึ้น ตอบใหม่ละักัน
อันที่สองไม่ค่อยเห็นด้วย รู้สึก vista ก็จะมี notification ขึ้นบ่อยเหมือนกัน
ส่วนอันที่ 3-4 เราเห็นว่า
linux ลำบากตอนแรก (ต้องคอยไปศึกษาโน้นนี้)
แต่ windows ลำบากตอนหลัง (ต้องคอยไปซ่อมเวลาโดนโจมตี)

Command line
$ aptitude install vlc
or
$ apt-get install vlc

GUI #1
System -> Administration -> Synaptic Package Manager
Search for VLC, mark for installation and apply

GUI #2
Applications -> Ubuntu Software Center
Search for VLC, install

I can't see where is the hard part...

-> This is by design.
Windows copy this in Vista by asking for admin permission.

In Ubuntu, you may easily login as root and be God just like in Windows XP. But that reduce the security advantage of it. Same for Windows Vista/7. You may disable that annoying popup at your own security cost.
